Change matters more than volume
Large object counts can reflect collection breadth rather than operational significance. Start with what changed relative to the recent baseline.
Corroboration changes confidence
Independent sources that support the same underlying observation generally increase confidence. Repetition from a single upstream source does not provide the same benefit.
Severity needs context
A severe vulnerability, anomalous flight, or threat indicator becomes more actionable when it is connected to relevant entities, assets, places, or ongoing events.
What this means
Prioritize observations that combine recency, meaningful change, independent corroboration, relevant relationships, and explicit uncertainty. Then inspect the source evidence before acting on the assessment.
